As Chinese people, we have a deep love for Hanfu, which is rich in ethnic characteristics. However, many girls who buy Hanfu find that they do not know how to apply makeup for it. Without a perfect makeup look, the beauty of wearing Hanfu will be incomplete. To make up for this regret, the editor has written an article on Hanfu makeup to share with everyone. The article mainly introduces four parts: eyebrow makeup, eye makeup, lip makeup, and facial makeup.
1. Eyebrow Makeup
Different eyebrow shapes endow different personalities. If you want a style that combines gentleness, bravery, and charm, then the main focus should be on fine, small mountain-shaped eyebrows.
To add a touch of “seductiveness,” draw a slightly angular upward-curved eyebrow at the end of the eyebrow. Moreover, the eyebrows need to be drawn long, which not only makes your face appear smaller but also enhances your presence. It is important to note that to enhance the depth and clarity of the eyes, the eyebrows need to be drawn thicker to highlight the emotions of the eyes. Additionally, if your brow bone is not very prominent and you want to make your eyes more three-dimensional, you should apply highlighter below the brow bone.
2. Eye Makeup
The eye makeup should coordinate with the eyebrows. Since the eyebrows almost extend to the temples, the eyes should also be drawn long and slender. When applying eyeshadow, start by blending brown eyeshadow into the socket, then use wine-red eyeshadow for large-scale blending, and finally, extend red eyeshadow to the outer corner of the eye and blend well.
Girls with narrow double eyelids are not very suitable for external eyeliner, so draw internal eyeliner, extending and lifting it at the outer corner. Also, apply brown eyeshadow and eyeliner to the lower lash line to make the eyes appear more expressive.
Finally, curl your lashes and brush them in a Z-shape with a mascara wand to separate each lash and enlarge the eyes.
3. Lip Makeup
For thin lips, you should make them appear fuller when applying makeup. First, outline the lips with a lip liner, then fill the entire lips with a matte red lipstick, emphasizing the cupid's bow. To prevent smudging, lightly dust a layer of loose powder over the lipstick after application to make it last longer.
4. Facial Contouring
Facial contouring mainly refers to: contouring + highlighting + blushing.
For contouring, simply brush contour powder along the lower side of the cheekbones to achieve a slimming effect. Then apply peach-colored blush diagonally, which further enhances the slimming effect. Finally, contour along the jawline to highlight the facial contours.
Finally, add flower stickers, wear long hairpieces, and insert hairpins, and a complete Hanfu makeup look is complete.
