In recent years, an increasing of citizens have begun to pay attention to hanfu and the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. Xishan District combines hanfu culture with the Qixi through the hanfu cultural festival activities, deepening the construction of traditional culture, guiding the masses to recognize, respect, inherit, protect, and promote tradition, spreading hanfu culture and traditional festivals far and wide, better building the Chinese spirit, Chinese values, and Chinese strength, providing spiritual guidance for the people.

October is our college's traditional Women's Month, which also coincides with a leadership assessment visit to our college. During this period, the English Club's “Halloween Night of Fun” event not only stimulates members to truly enjoy, participate in, and understand Western culture but also promotes the continuous development of campus culture, creating a strong English cultural atmosphere. Currently, our club holds English corner activities every week and irregularly organizes large-scale cultural exchange events similar to this one.

Nowadays, more and more people are seen wearing hanfu on the streets. Hanfu, whose full name is “traditional Han nationality clothing,” is also known as Han clothing, Han attire, and Huafu. It evolved naturally from the time of the Yellow Emperor's ascension to the mid-17th century (late Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty) in the main Han living areas, with “Huaxia-Han” culture as the background and dominant ideology, centered around Huaxia etiquette culture, forming a unique traditional clothing and accessory system that clearly distinguishes it from other ethnic groups, embodying China's “clothing state,” “etiquette country,” and “embroidery China.” Can you introduce hanfu to foreigners in English? “Hanfu enthusiasts” have gradually moved out of small circles and become increasingly mainstream. Whenever traditional festivals come around, seeing young people wearing various hanfu on the street is no longer surprising. From initially being a novelty, hanfu has gradually become a trend, attracting more and more enthusiasts with its traditional elegance. Understanding hanfu is an introductory course to traditional Chinese culture. Hanfu, also known as clothing, Han attire, Huafu, is one of the external manifestations of traditional Chinese culture. Hanfu has spanned from the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors to the present day, being an essential part of China's thousands of years of ritual culture. Understanding hanfu is both an introductory and required course in understanding traditional Chinese culture.

On the 8th, six German high school students joined students from Changqing No.1 School Jin Yinhu Middle School for an English class introducing Chinese culture, appreciating the hanfu fashion show by Chinese classmates, painting ink paintings on discarded , and learning to make kites. The German children were very interested in Chinese culture, painting ink paintings with skill, and even writing “China, Germany, welcome you” in Chinese characters. Ninth-grader Laura had studied Chinese in Germany, and talking about this Wuhan trip, she and her companions were very excited. “Wuhan has many plants, everyone is very warm-hearted, I love traditional Chinese culture, especially and tea ceremony.”

“Falling in Love with a Hanfu Beauty” tells the story of a handsome and smart “returnee” boy who falls in love at first sight with a hanfu-clad girl and begins a passionate pursuit. The drama includes introductions and displays of hanfu, as well as the blending of modern and traditional cultures. Zhou Xiaolin introduced that this drama would be translated into English, French, Japanese, Korean, and other languages, airing simultaneously online. Zhou Xiaolin and her classmates had previously produced a short film “Han Clothing” and a documentary on traditional Chinese women's coming-of-age ceremonies, which were loved by hanfu enthusiasts across the country.

With the country's vigorous promotion of traditional culture, more and more people are willing to seriously understand traditional Chinese culture and pay attention to traditional Chinese civilization, leading to hanfu, poetry, and other items with ancient charm entering people's vision. As college students of the new era, we should inherit and develop the etiquette civilization of our vast China. Five thousand years of civilization have nurtured exquisite hanfu. Hanfu culture embodies cultivation and a of ceremony; each step in hanfu represents cultivation. It is precisely because of China's five thousand years of cultural heritage that today's unique hanfu culture has been created. In response to this era's requirements, on May 2nd at 7:00 PM, the Business English College organized the “ Poetry Talk” hanfu-themed activity at the Umay River open-air theater, aiming to promote hanfu etiquette and spread Chinese culture.
