From the Tang Dynasty's “Portrait of Ladies Wearing Flowers”, the restoration of the large-sleeved robe is explored to find new paths for IP empowerment design, assisting in the innovative development of Donghua University's design discipline. According to the principle of “images as evidence, text for source tracing, certification and creation, innovation and restoration”, the Shanghai International Fashion Innovation Center of Donghua University conducted experiments on the restoration and recreation of Hanfu from various dynasties. Taking the Tang Dynasty's “Portrait of Ladies Wearing Flowers” as an example, by redesigning and recreating its patterns, effect diagrams, and physical production, it recreated the “Zhou style” of noble ladies wearing large-sleeved robes depicted by Zhou Fang. The Shanghai Hanfu Copyright Center has confirmed and protected the copyright of the Tang Dynasty's large-sleeved robe.
